self-harmpoetry
|
my breath is cold
i start to shake
it would be so easy
to walk into the fire
to rid myself
of this cold
that has come over me
sence that nite
Oh to be rid
of those scars
that have haunted
me for months
i wish i could
put a flame
to the past
i shudder as
i place the
lit candle to my
skin and flinch
as i feel the
warmth of a
friend that I
know will never
fail me
i give a
sigh of relief
as i lean
back and feel the
pain
slowly
slip
away
