nothing left

Contributed by radstraightedge on Wednesday, 5th October 2005 @ 06:40:22 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

There's no where to run, there's no place to hide. All the good has gone and been swept aside. To be taken away and never seen again, for me to be happy now would be nothing short of pretend. The smile they see isn't quite what they think. But I want poeple to know I'm not being fake. Things seem to happen for no reason at all. And when they do my world crumbles and falls. I know things could be worse and I shouldn't complain. But the lack of certain feelings is driving me insane. I try to hide the thoughts from others, knowing if they knew I might soon be discovered. To be found a fake, someone only acting content. But in the world today how much happiness is meant? If you let them think you're happy inside maybe they'll leave you to yourself and soon let you die. To be destined for this fate makes me cringe with fear. And the thought of nothing changing makes me soon find a tear. Pretending never comes harder than at a time like this. But maybe things will get better when I find out what I miss.

maybe there is something lefted, but you not for sure what way may be right
maybe you need a hand to guide you to the light
i truly understand what you say
damn i remember like it was yesterday ,because i remember feeling this same way
you still have this poem
but realize there is more to life, just pray and never to your body do any harm
you say that there is nothing left
um think
i love this poem, it is enough to make money off of in put in in the bank. take care and remember to stay positive.
