Let Him Come

Have you ever wandered through the forest of your fears? Have you ever almost drowned in the ocean of your tears?
Let the real burden bearer Come and take away your load He who's arm is strong to aid you Can become your safe abode
Let Him come Let Him come Let Him come and take it all away Let Him come Let Him come Find in Him a quiet resting place
In the jungle of unanswered prayers Your tied in vines of doubt All the promises of yesterday Have disappeared like clouds
In the jungle of unanswered prayers Your tied in vines of doubt All the promises of yesterday Have disappeared like clouds
Through the tangle of deception You no longer see the sky And the only thought you entertain Is the constant question "why?".
Let Him come Let Him come Let Him come and take it all away Let Him come Let Him come Find in Him a quiet resting place
Now you rest in Him completely No more striving on your own And the machete of His verity Cuts through the vines of the unknown
And you begin to see the way again Hope shines down its rays of light There's a plan and there's a purpose As your darkness turns to light
Let Him come and take it all away Let Him come Let Him come Find in Him a quiet resting place
Given over to uncertainty You can hardly say your free But when resting in the Master's hand Freedom's found in a grave marked "me".
