My Greatest Strength

My greatest strength in life
Comes from my belief in God
And the love of my family
Their support raises me above
All the stress and heartache
Life has to offer
My daily dependence on them
Grows like a weed
In a crack on the sidewalk
My love for them
Soars to unfounded levels
Never reaching a cap
How blessed am I
To walk in these shoes each day
To come home each night
To a loving son waiting
To a warm and secure haven
To the loved-ones who give me strength
