You are so cold to the core,
Left me feeling hurt and sore
You look warm on the outside,
But it's all cold on the inside
You grew so cold, so hard,
From me you grew apart
Left me all alone in the rain,
Left me to deal with my pain
Never wiped away these tears,
Not during any of the past years
Said you were always there,
Said that you'd always be fair
You let me fall down,
Left me on the ground
Cold to the core,
Left me so sore
Told me nothing but lies,
Ignored all of my cries
Didn't care that I fell down,
Didn't care that I wear a frown
Warm on the outside,
Cold on the inside
Always telling me a lie,
Ignoring any one cry
My heart you shattered,
My heart feels battered
Told me all of those lies,
Ignored all of my cries
Left me to be alone,
Left me all on my own
You are so cold to the core,
Left me feeling hurt and sore

I'm going through the exact same thing. exactly the same. I needed to read this, thank you.
The poem itself was pretty good, you captured the emotions well, and except for a few rhymes that seemed a bit off, you've written something that really has appeal to in its thematic category. I loved it. Well done |

Very good spill of the heart. It's a shame some people have to be like that, but at least you're not one of them.
This had a fairly smooth flow to it, and was packed full of emotions. Nice job!
