cant sleep

insomniac
|
eyes are heavy
burnning and red
playing with emotions
inside my head
take the invisable tape of my eyelids
i feel that they need to shut
but they dont
a horible feeling is inside my gut
rolling around
trying to sleep
but all that i do
is get tangled in the sheet
hands shaking
sweat dripping from every poor
i stand up out of bed and try to reach for the door
being weak my hand trembals and falls to my side
i lay back in my bed
for another insomniatic ride
laying in a pool of shadows
eyes dry from looking for sleep
they close for a second
but my insomnia is to deep

How true- did you know over half the population suffers from insomnia at times?
