Darkness be my friend
Free me from hurt with your cold hand
Consume me so I pain no more
Until Im numb to the core
Render me incapable of needing
Block out my wanting
Harden this soft heart into stone
I want to be alone
Insinuated by the night
Caressed by pale moonlight
Dead to the ones around me
Immune to their cruelty
Loves flame from my heart fade
No more will I be betrayed
Darkness be my friend
To the very bitter end
