I'm tired of just sitting here Waiting for thoughts to disappear I want to stop thinking of you
Is there a way To go back in time To say all the things That were on my mind
Regret, I have known the word Is this just one more of those Things I wish I could redo
Is there a way To ease some of this pain That tears my heart strings Every single day
I know you don't really care About the thoughts I choose to share Useless things spinning inside my head
Is there a way To retake this life To make my world restart Before any of these thoughts
Depression is my only source Of genuine happiness I wish I could explain this to you
What was I supposed to do Leave my world to be with you After all that was said and done I would have given you it all If your heart hadn't been a wall Look can you see what you've begun
Is there a way I can be remade To fix my broken heart That has fallen apart

Appropriate!
All of this can be found mirrored in my heart. The healing process and road to recovering/mending these regrets is long and arduous. Much to the dismay of our human and impatient hearts.
If you can find a quicker, positive, solution, please let me in on it, and perhaps we'll heal/move on together!
If on the other hand *I* find said solution... well then....
I'm taking it to e-bay.
Just kidding... this was a great write.
A keeper! |
