Collateral

A camel lies dying Its back shattered and broken A single thin straw The passing winds only token.
The master stands nearby Loading his wards to another beast Idly pondering to continue on Or slay the animal for a feast.
The unlucky wind That brought the straw Tries to escape Dangers gaping maw.
The camel spits at its master Spitting also at the breeze; The two retreat faster But upon their cloaks the curse does freeze.
The man stumbles and falls A loud crack is heard in the night The wind clutches his wing; the man his leg Testament to the curses might.
Three lay there Two hurt, one dying Problems are being brought to bear And one of them is sorely trying.
Cursed: the man who set the stack; He shall never perform another gig Cursed also: the breeze that brought the twig That broke the camels back.
