These words travel farther than I would have had them
That a boy on the other side of the world from me
Heard what I told her when the last two were
Just straight gin
These dreams wont stop
Heart climbs up to my throat
When its you
shaking too bad
To sing
When its you standing on my doorstep
I refuse to believe anyone will ever
Love me the way you do
Like Im what beauty has come to mean
perfect
It was you sitting in the back of the car
When the lights caught my eyes
And coaxed a sigh
Dont ever let me go
These moments of light wont mean a thing
If its not your arms wrapped around me
So deny whatever you have to
Dont let me let you go
Because sometimes Im stupid
And sometimes Im wrong
But this wont mean anything
If its not you whos watching
Me cross the room
Like the dress isnt even there
Dont ever let me believe
Even for a second
That I dont love you
