Perfect World

Contributed by MetalheadSD on Tuesday, 11th October 2005 @ 01:51:06 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

In a perfect world
She would be with me
Hand in hand
Happy we would be
I would look into her eyes
Felling joyful and serene
If I had met her earlier
This is how things would have been
Spoiling her to the core
Treating her the way she should
I would try my hardest to make her happy
Hoping that I could
But the world is not perfect
It is sometimes evil and cruel
But when there is happiness
Light makes darkness a fool
Because I know her
Because she is in my life
My darkness has subsided
I no longer feel strife
But friends we are
And friends we will be
Unless fate twists paths
That I would like to see
And because this world is not perfect
I still venture out on my own
Looking for the one like you
The one that does not exist and is unknown
