Glass Cage

Topic: LostLove

I can see you,
I know youre there.
I can see everything youre doing,
but all you do is sit and stare.
What are you hiding from?
What is it that you dont want to touch?
Is it something that you dont want to feel?
How long has this cage been here?

This glass cage isnt keeping you safe.
from whatever youre frightened of.
Cant you see what this is doing to you?
Just open the door, let me through.
Just because its a solid wall,
doesnt mean nothing can get to you at all.

Can you feel me loving you?
I used to think that when you were beside me,
that you could read my mind.
I could feel our souls intertwine,
but where did you go?
I cant feel you anymore
Where is your soul?
Is it hiding away?

This glass cage isnt keeping you safe,
from whoever youre trying to keep away.
Cant you see what this is doing to you?

Can you feel me loving you?
How hard must I pound on these walls?
Dont you even want to break out of the cage
then this glass will break, shatter, and fall.
I dont like whats happening to you,
I dont know what to do.
How can I let you know?
When I never knew
Did you ever really love me?
Did you ever really care?

This glass cage wont forever keep you safe,
from the feelings you cant seem to face.
Cant you see what this is doing to you?
Just open the door, let me through.
just because its a solid wall,
doesnt mean nothing can get to you at all.

Can you feel me loving you?
What do you want me to say?
Why dp you try so hard to still push me away?
Was it so wrong to believe you would stay?
Did you really mean those words I love you.
