Look inside an atom
what is at its centre?
Go deeper, its empty
Clay molded into a vessel
Its usefulness is
in its empty hollowness
Water tastes heavenly
as tastelessness is
in its character
Most precious diamonds
are the ones that
lack any colour
Windows and doors
what use they would be
but for their emptiness?
Valleys never fail
to cast their spell
for they are vacant
Sumptuous feasts
we'd ne'er enjoy
on a stomach full
We could be of some use too
if we were not so full
so full of ourselves

Good question R.M.Wilder.
Your heart, it should be sufficiently empty to accommodate all living beings and have some space for other objects and also for passions such as poetry and arts.

Hm empty, yes some NEEd to be.but I agree.....with RM...what is an empty heart? It has to have some to fill.......and that means , the way I typed it.! I know what your sceniro, was behind, it...yet, it cant be like that FOR ALL>!Good anoalogy , tho.
