I love you like none of it happened.
Deeper and stronger than when it began.
I need you like my life's left with nothing
to breathe, sleep, eat, or be.
I want you like I have no other choice
if I'm going to live in this life with these dreams.
I ache for you like you're not here beside me
so close I can reach.
I taste you like the first time our lips met
after months of frustration and curiosity.
I know you like you live here inside me
and whisper your prayers while I'm fast asleep.
I crave you like I'll never be sated
without you to touch.
I forgave you because
my heart was made for yours
and it knows what you're worth.
