Oh, sweet heavens, open your kind heart to me
play your delicate lyrics upon my breast and brow
let the child who once wished you away really see
let him sing and dance in this early awakening now
grant to him all the joy that is spread far and wide
when the clouded skies open and feed all alive
for and to him, make the same fair music inside
nourish his dreams with which makes all life thrive
bathe his soul in the pleasant that is only yours.

I love the rain. I like standing in the rain just letting it saturate me. It feels so good. I remember running and playing out in the rain as a child, so I always let my children be apart of Mother Nature's cleansing.
Beautiful write.
Thank you for sharing.
Much peace, love and hugs,
Laura |
