Today is just a day of endless days
So much hangs in the balance.
I crowded myself with nothingness
In your absence
The rain would fall
From a cloudless sky
Like the tears I cried
Strong I was even in my weakness,
You were there even in your distance.
Our love was growing
Even in the longing of a time stood still
I was there when I could not be seen
When you reached out for me you felt me
I was never that far
In the endless days that followed
I loved you, as you loved me.
Immortal in our own time
Our love will last forever.
