She saw him every where she turned
Heard him in every song
The night that he was leavin
He slowly turned around
He touched her chest, said think of me

Those words he had just spoken
With no way he could know
Of the seed that he had planted
Or how deep the roots would grow
They wrote each other letters
And he told her of the sounds
Of the mortars and munitions
Every time he turned around

But he never had to remind her

This reminds me of a song:

ah, nazzy......I don't know how you keep coming up with these, (I s'pose anna?),
but they are unfaltering in their ability to evoke such tender and sweet emotion.
This was simply beautiful. I'm beginning to think my comments on your work
are redundant, but there are just so many ways to express....
brilliance.
I love the way you wrote this one. It embraces the heart, scotty. Truly.

My heart sighs with joy and a new warmth that puts a large smile on my face... This is positively enchanting, and resonating with truth and beauty that it brings tears to my eyes...
The splendors of true love can never really be described... but this.. this, my friend, is an exceptionally divine effort, one that can be related to by many. I love how real this is, how it could happen, and does happen and how so many people could relate to it in some way.
Mostly, I love your words, the way you put them together, the story you tell, and how you draw everyone into it with your imagery.
