the angel of hope has lost her way,
she sits alone,
crying,
as her radiance fades
there once was a time,
when she was not afraid,
but with each fallen star,
she questions her faith
off in the distance
head in her hands,
lonesome and dejected,
cursing God's plan
how could this happen?
why now? why today?
if i could i would
take away all of her pain
and give her the strength
that she gave to me
the strength and the faith
to always believe
angel of hope,
dust off your wings
because without your smile,
this world is incomplete
please come out isolation,
for it's ok to cry,
but let those whom you've helped,
help you restore your faith in life.
