This world

Contributed by carlton149 on Monday, 17th October 2005 @ 01:17:02 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

We live in a world of pain and confusion, happiness and unexplainable things. We live in a world where money can buy anything and feelings come second. Where drugs ruin lives and lies run among our society. A pill can cure a cold and a drop can bring death. Yesterdays actions cause havoc tomorrow. Power is feend by rulers like a rock is by drugies. Death lingers around as our technology advances. Every step we take forward brings the end closer to us. We slowly kill ourselves in ways that were non existent not long ago. We forget about pasts that can better our future. A trigger can end it all. We forget how easy it is for it all to be gone. The underworld rises as we fall asleep. Mysteries are sometimes better left unsolved.
