Laying there beside him
So calm and peaceful
Not a worry or fear
It wasn't so long ago
He wondered what life would be like without her
But that's one thing he will never have to know
She's his someone special
The light of his life
She's the woman he loves
And it feels so right

He remembers that day
When they said "I Do"
An adventure for both of them
The start of something new
The way she looked at him
Her smile is how he knew
