I feel so empty inside
Am I still in love
Do I still want you
To hold in my arms
And to kiss your soft lips
Do I want to dance
Dance with you til the break of dawn
I dont know what I want
I'm lost
Don't know where to go
I want to share all my feelings with you
I want to be able to spill my heart out to you
Only if I can feel for you again
Deep down inside our souls
We are still together
Our hearts will never die
We will always be together
Maybe
Just maybe
If we can try again
It'll all work out
No more broken hearts
No more drifting away
From each other
Just you and me
Laying next to each other
Sharing our feelings
Our love
Lips pressed against yours
Not wanting to let go
Staring into each others eyes
Looking straight through them
Then saying
"I love you"
Kissing you goodbye
And wrapping my arms around you
Hopefully one day
We will both be one again

Well, I don't know that the length of a poem has anything to do with the quality...this is good though. It's open, it's honest, and comes across heartfelt. I enjoyed this read. Good luck with the love thing...

Great poem. Reminded me how I felt a while back. I got some "long" poems. But a lot of people think they're good. Don't worry about the length too much. :)

You should have put this in a letter and mailed it. You asked for a comment, and here it is;
This submission is irrelevant to me, as a reader of poetry. It is full of cliche's and ribald remarks on love.
