There's a sadness in her eyes she just cant hide from The dwindle in her smile she just cant run from An emptiness in her heart that she can't deny The tear streaks on her cheeks are all a given sign And one more cut is all it'd take Just one more to erase Everything she's feeling; everything she's done Part of what has made her; still grasping for the sun Too far gone not coming back Dwelling on all she lacks Not able to move on; not able to let go Just somewhere in between; hitting brand new lows Such sweet release for such a crippled mind Just shedding out the fears she longs to leave behind Quick before her time runs out And the voices whisper thoughts of doubt Now its done shes numbed her pain But left behind her chance to gain Smiles kisses hugs; A life All vanished in that tender knife
