Dramatic senses In youth it was sensational To be so poetic...to be so scared A short span later My confidence is chaotic Purity, I am sure Righteous, I am sure Holy, I am sure But what are these, that I should attain Neverending filter Of Irrelevance The journey is tough I am weary from not doing the job All the shame is a sham To take me away From truth.

A very fine poem this Elizabeth.
But take heart. Truth is relative. i.e., as we see and perceive it at one particular moment in time.
It may change as we change and we still are in truth, as long as we are expressing truthfully what we perceive at a certain level of perception.
Enjoyed you poem
