The Rose

Contributed by candysears on Saturday, 22nd October 2005 @ 02:10:30 PM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

This rose stand so bold with
Blossom of elegance and
Beauty,
Each petal sparkle with the
Kiss of the early morning
Dew
This rose blossom with posh
Subtle beauty reign
The essence of life makes this
Rose a masterpiece of nature
Gardens,
Such splendorous beauty
Cascading hues colors of
The rose,
With the early morning dew
Twinkling down each petal
Each leaf
Nothing so beautiful as
The rose in the early morning
Dew

This is a beautifully written, relaxing poem with excellent imagery.

"With the early morning dew
Twinkling down each petal
Each leaf"

Wonderful word usage!

This is quite splendid. The rose is one of the most beautiful flowers even with the thorns. The thorns are to protect its beauty from being destroyed. Quite like some people. I really enjoyed this write. You are quite talented.

Such beautiful imagery cast into such beautiful words. The rose, my favourite type of flower. Well done on such an excellently written poem.

Candysears,

The rose perhaps is the most beautiful poetic symbol ever, and is often used as a description of love's bloom and arousal. I enjoyed this poem immensely.

Robert Davidson.
