Walking Down Heaven Highway

I thought I was walking down the
Highway to heaven,
I seen a light so bright and inviting
I figure I should hurry toward the
Light,
Was that the golden gate into heaven
I see?
If it was I surely missed it, it seems,
Maybe if I turned around I would find
It again
But the light seems so real, so bright
It seem to be calling me,
Is that my mother standing there?
So anxious for me to get to this light,
Im not sure, but it did favor her
Oh my Lord
What happen to the light?
The light was so beautiful and bright;
Its ok I think there is another gate
But its neither gold nor silver
What is that I see?
Fire burning so furiously till
A blaze almost scotches my hand
As I touched the latch,
Such a fiery place,not at all what
I thought,
Well better take a good look before
Entering,
Is that a serpent crawling inside?
Along side the gate
Oh my God
This cant be right
Please Lord do forgive me for
My sins,
I promise I will change "Oh Lord"
I'll change,
The light has gone and Im here
All along,
How can I live in a place without
Any flowers?
A sky so blue it would make you ask
For a drink,
Without the Lord to tell me everything
Will be ok,
Just leave my problems and hell work
Them out..
But guess what?
As you can see, God wasnt ready
For me yet!
It was all just a dream he threw me back
So motherDaddyBillie Jack.I have
Another chance to walk down heavens
Highway
Tell my husband hope I will meet him
There;

Hmmm...I found this to be more abstract, or even ambiguous, than 'humourous'. Of course, you would know best, being the author and all : )
I enjoyed reading it all the same, and I found it kind of introspective in a way...Nice job!
