Digging Digging
looking for water
a release to my endless sorrow
digging digging
trying to bury my pain
digging digging
crying out God's name
where has he gone
i'm digging a well
looking for the water of life
my eyes swell
my tears fall a steady cry
how did i get here
beneath the ground
somone bury me
so you wont hear the sound
of my sobs
how did i get here?
somone didn't do thier job
was this love's destiny?
to bury me with shame
was this love's destiny
to make my heart a game?
a losing gamble
for answers i scramble
digging digging
looking for water
digging digging
dying of thirst
water of life
i call to thee
come forth
and set me free
help me breath
water of life
