Drunk
Its just another drop,
That adds to the sorrow,
A sorrow that I cant escape,
A sorrow Im drunk with.
My hearts beating hazily,
My thoughts become obscured,
Im drunk with sorrow,
Im breathing heavily.
The sorrow helps me,
Ignore everything else,
I cant focus on anything,
But the sorrow Im feeling.
Ive had sorrow my whole life,
Im drunk with it everyday,
Ive felt It for long,
But Im still not used to it.
My hearts always heavy,
With the familiar pain,
Its always distinct,
But Im still not used to it.
Im addicted to the sorrow,
A sorrow Im drunk with,
Im drunk with it everyday,
But Im still not used to it.

Nothing like some straight up honesty, and you did it well here...I especially like the ending. Nicely done, and there's no reason you should ever be 'used to it.' Change can come, whenever you're ready...Take Care.
