More than friends
Less than lovers
Not daring to cross unspoken boundaries
While wondering why they were ever made in the first place
There is a special connection undoubtedly
One that will never break
Although it has bent a time or two
But it always finds its way back into form
A unique form
One that can not be replicated
An imperfect perfect form

While it's not poetic per se, this is a really good piece from the heart. I enjoyed reading this, and every solid friendship bounces back from a bend or two. If you do decide to 'cross that unspoken boundary', I wish you two all the best. Nice job.

Wow I really like this. I guess for one, yes, it is well written. Two, it's almost as though it is written about my life; that's how closely I relate to it.. I can so much relate to it at present it makes me ask the same questions; express the same words.
