Whispers in the wind
voices barely heard
lonely heart speaks
unspoken words
Tears well up in these eyes
sadness tearing me apart
violent shaking of the firmament
self-destruction made an art
Caress myself like a baby
watch it all come undone
places I cannot speak of
have stolen all my fun
Treacherous storms rage
deep within the twisted soul
places I cannot forget
paid very heavy tolls
Push it back
live free for awhile
caught up in the reverie
can't you see me smile?
Games have been played
false foundations laid
spending time in the shell
now, look at what you made.
