You silence is mine, and for a time we can't speak,
Here I lie behind a stoic mask that won't leak,
With ardent eyes that glow weak,
Lowered to picture the sand,
Your eyes mine breach,
And so delicately land,
To enter depths of your soul words can't reach,
Cause something more than words need to be said,
Which is fed by emotions bled
Froze stiff, no moving,
I can feel the tougne bruising,
Ears blind with oblique chants,
All that's needed to hear is a passionate glance,
Peering into your mind as we lock eyes,
The only escape is swiftly breaking sight,
If we speak we can lie,
So if you don't mind just be quiet and drive,
Letting this akward silence devour our thoughts,
What's so akward? You lost?,
Look at me...I'm here,
Or is that what you needed to hear?

Oh I know that awkward silence all to much lol. It does make you think, why things are so uncomfortable, maybe because you really don't care for eachother as you thought, I've always wondered. Great write.
