I mend a pain that will not go away
Ignoring all the things my doubts have to say
A light, I know will soon appear
But sadness pulls me down when your voice is what I hear
I want to believe that all of this is not infecting me
What you have in possesion is slowly dissecting me
Please, just say what you will
I hear my heart, but listen to you
My drafted thoughts you love to kill
A broken soul obsessed
A broken soul gone sad
A broken soul confessed
The fear inside
My dependance soars with pride and is shot by your abuse
Derived by your extracting touch, my misery favors your use
I want back what used to be, but can't because this chance I may lose
Boring you with my cries doesn't give you authority to bruise
Our intro to this affair, I know we'd both prefer
But the plane has made it's call and a war is to occur
Please, just say what you will
I hear my heart but listen to you
My drafted thoughts you love to kill
A broken soul is raped
A broken soul gone mad
A broken soul escaped
The fear inside
Your needs have changed and I am still right here
What to do on this joyride, but wish you were near
I want to wait for your return, but your journey won't die
The greatest fear inside, my love, is saying goodbye
