The Way Things Used to Be

Contributed by Adrianna on Saturday, 29th October 2005 @ 02:01:34 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I dont think the can express how I feel
I want to go back to the way things used to be

I just want to be happy again
I want to feel the joy inside

I want to go back to the way things used to be

I want to go back to the happiness that I thought would never end

The memories haunt me
The happiness haunts me

I just want to go back to the way things used to be

Instead of trying to recapture the past, perhaps strive for a better future. Best of luck.

Everyone at one point... has something so amazing, that they just want to cherish - someone, that just makes everything different, and even though it's hard, you don't care. Sometime's we lose those unique moments, and all we want... is to have it back. I know I do. Great write.
