I look to the horizon and it seems so far away
Yet again it disappears like the night from the day
Wandering as a pawn in lifes unending turmoil of motions
All I want is just a moment maybe a lil taste of devotion
The night shields me and holds me in its comforting embrace
All my challenges all my strifes all stand back but yet keep pace
The searching and the longing are all that keeps me going
Where do I find this peace this awe of just belonging
Scars are what remind us to tread ever so lightly
Or are they what keep us from stepping forward and trying
I dream of going towards the beginning just to reach it one time
Not to stop short, be leery and not just get left behind

| its life, doesnt it suck, like humanity, i really despise humanity a lot. we're so grose, and ***** stupid its not even funny..but other than that, i can feel me in thsi poem, you made a really good point....and i agree. |
