for you to fool with, the games have begun...
Pack up your bible and say a prayer
keep it up, I beg, I dare...

Normally I wouldn't advise having a poem about a site member like this - but this one made me smile, because if someone's doing that, it is so deserved. I wonder if it's the same person has been sniping me. Frankly I think the "points" thing should go.
Them's "fightin' words" scorp and tastefully done too!

Scorpy, wow! I can't believe this! How irritating!
I don't even pay attention to those stupid ratings ...
Poetry is SO personal and subjective anyway. What
one person sees as beauty or art, may be seen
as "rubbish" to someone else. But still, you are right
to be annoyed. Immature is an understatement!

When I first came here, my first question was, what is the points for.. I was told it was an incentive, to give you courage.. but I do not believe a vote whether it is a one or a 5 makes a poem less than. For me I enjoy reading everyones work, enjoying posting in order to help someone out, hopefully, I learn so much from others writes as well. I enjoy YPDC and I pray we can all be friends... scorp, you are a lovely person, I do hope you are ok.

| Well now, this was rather punchy and abrupt, wasn't it? And enjoyably so, I might add. lol, I find myself just loving that last line of yours, but it was just so generally peppy and full of that kind of rage only ignorant people can produce...just awesome. YOu also pointed out some important stuff in it too, notably the last last line here (not to be mistaken with the last line, mind you :P) Thanks for the fun read! : ) |

LOL ... I took the 1 treatment a long while back and then realized it was their way of paying attention to me..so it was great then and I learned to love the 1's..

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! I gave it a five just because of the fear you instill. No really, you know that's not true. You know you'd always get at the very least a 10+ from me .... if the rating system allowed but sigh, definitely a five. Yep, definitely a fiver!!! You have such a great way with words your emotions just reach out and grab me. Thank goodness I'm not a poetess or the poetess .
You're always the awesome Scorpenator. Why sweat it? A really great friend once told me to not "sweat it" so I'm just passing along those words from that great friend. :)

Wow Scorp, for a short poem it certainly packs a big punch. I seem to recollect another poem of yours with a similar theme. I really enjoyed the write, and smiled while reading it. However, even with that softer side, you have me convinced that you can take care of yourself. :)
