Just Believe in me Is that too much to ask? when trust is involved everyone wears a mask.
Defense is good, waitng the assault, but living life on edge, Makes it feel like my fault.
I deal my trust, looser than most, but when called a liar, I tend to roast
Shattered memories, with shards of trust, Is anyone out there? Lifes starting to rust.
My head is clouded, which makes me on edge, But me making a promise, is more than a pledge.
Virgin my trust, Innocent and scared Quick to jump in, not being aware.
Love is a byproduct, made from trust, Laced with pain, and blinded by lust.
I give you my word, that is all that offer, Accuse me again, And You'll meet Jimmy Hoffa.
