A basket, a vase of colors
I turn your love over
I close my eyes; no need to say why
Yet still, let me catch my breath
You know this is November
Now where shall you go?
I knew you had someone new
This is no payback
Hand me not your flowers
Left, no hours, we are through
Perhaps tomorrow, you will gather new colors
For the one at the end of your pot of gold
Useless dreams, you have are nothing
Strange world we live in
When I am not the one, you will hold
You have let me know, how it was unreal
The time has finally come around
I felt your problem, before
Paybacks, no, tough, yes
Two lives wasted, leaves a sighing sound

Oh Meagan it's great to be back and reading your remarkable work again. This is a sad and heart breaking write. I hope that all is well with you my dear friend. I feel there is alot more to your poem. So much sadness reflected from your words.
