i hate to admit
that i live my life
it sickens me so
i found christ
and i found him alone
i find it funny
that the church continues
to feel i should stay that way
alone
they banish me
outcast me
and see me as bad person
all because of what ive done
in my past
i love god
and i love jesus
but sadly
i cannot stand christians
they are what first made me
what i used to be
is it fair to anyone
who wants to be one of us
has to feel so bad
at what the church says
he must become
people say to live by example
but what if the example
is fake
and what if the example
is what is keeping you from becoming
what your meant to be
its sad
the church, that is
to see such a beautiful building
and it have such a rotten core
if people could only see
that the church is not christianity
theres no way a person in there will set you free
only one of them can
his name is christ
i loathe the fact that some of the 'christians'
think they are so worthy
to save somebody
but they dont realize
they save nobody
only THE ONE can save one from the one they used to be
i mean
look at me

There is a lot wrong with christianity and religeon in general but we need them, double edged sword i suppose. Going to church does not make you a christian i know plenty of rotton people attending church they should take the plank out of their eye first....Bet they are not very introspective. Knowing yourself and behaving the way you know is right will set you free i believe, as this is what letting christ into your heart is all about. Not just going to pray in a building with a bunch of fake people pretending life is great. Life sucks but is also wonderfull, i just hope all the pain is worth it in the end. Sorry about going off track, just like your poetry, looking forward to reading more...

Bravo. Excellent expression of a touchy topic onsite. Nice choice of words to bring the reader to a sense of guilt or resentment of Christ. Hell isnt that we all say He doesnt care! Many of use do believe in him and we dont need a building to pray in to supply support for.

Well hello there,
You've just proved a big point tha is lost from religion. My mom was a pentecostal Minister and she never preached or taught like this she was unique.
Don't give up you've got the lost message right here.
U have nothing to fear but the ones that made u feel this way are bringing hells rath on themselves.
P.m. me any time time there's only one thing I'm 100% sure of in my life is that I'm Jesus kid. That's all I need to know or claim.
My life was once miserable like this but when I quit going to church then I found God in all his glory.
Please just hang on.

People only go to church to make up for what the did on saterday night. They go out do sin after sin after sin then they pray the next day. I know some guys that go just for dates. But you know what, if you love the lord and feel like your living by him then you have no reason to go to church. people only go because they feel guilty if you have nothing to feel guilty about, pray at home god can hear you any where!
