I was going to tell you I loved you
But you killed me with words
And for some strange reason
I don't feel a thing right now
Except the sharp pain in my heart
And the lack of air in my lungs
But the one thing that hurts the most
Are these words that have nowhere to go
So all they can do is just rest in my mouth
Like a thousand tiny daggers pricking my tongue
And then there are your words
Which make the blood flow from my heart........

| why do you want to kill yourself? it won't bring him/her back or take away the pain. you're not the first or last that this has happened to. live through it and beat it and become a stronger person |

| suicide is never the answer . as a survivor of a suicide believe me when I say that the pain you feel now is nothing compared to the pain you cause the ones you love and that love you by killing yourself. |

If you think suicide is the answer, than go for it. I have to disagree though, and I have been there myself a long time ago. Suicide will end your broken heart for sure, but it will break a hundred more...Is that right?? As for this poem, it's packed with emotion, and it's a heartfelt, and sad spill...I enjoyed the read, and I can relate all too well to 'words having nowhere to go'. Hang in there, and stick around for that awesome person in your future who deserves your heart...Take Care.

I totally agree with the very talented Scorp on this one. Suicide is not the answer. I can so much relate to your poem. Chin up and may love reign inb your heart again real soon.
