you want to make it out like its you
you want to believe that you want
the end of this to be like
melted glass, pooling
this is where the lightning hits the sand
refining, tearing out the grain
of imperfection
why would this mean that much to me?
didnt expect to seeyou there
you saw me drop my jaw
this goes again
around the denial of who weve learned to be
youre trying to explain a reason that you
dont really understand
I dont want to noise
get it out of my ears
claw out a sentence that Ive scratched
out in metal
where am I supposed to wait?
who am I supposed to trust?
solemn and staring out in space
he says frustration but I read it
like anger and I understand
lost in an inability to care
watching the lightning hit the sand
has turned me inside out and pushed
me off the cliff where
my anxious sanity has taken to pacing

Now this is emotional poetry at its finest. Your diction and imagery are very polished and expressive, from the first lines on. I enjoyed this, and am impressed by it.

AT FIRST I I REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO READ THIS BECAUSE IT SEEMED KINDOF LONG BUT WHEN I GOT STARTED I HAD TO KEEP READING...THAT'S A GOOD THING CAUSE USUALLY I DON'T FEEL LIKE READING SOME THINGS BUT THIS ONE WAS REALLY GOOD...THANKS FOR POSTING..GOOD JOB...KEEP IT UP!!!
