Welcome as you are in the place where I dwell
Openly awaiting the news that you bring
Will it be the news for the likes of me
Or is it saved purely for the promoters of greed
For time has become another of these products
Prolonging everything you wish to keep
Raping and demonising whilst you sleep
Awoken now feeling slightly battered
Bruised without marks, hurt without scars
Playing parasitic host to the devil in the stars
Clay moulded around your soul
Only the pretty ones, allowed to feel whole
In a time of intellectual intolerance
Well just bleed the veins of our eroding followers.
