Go forth and multiply

Contributed by girish on Wednesday, 9th November 2005 @ 12:57:51 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

In our life, rains do come and rains do go
Twas recorded in the Holy Books you know
Which are much more than a passing shower
That even made old Noah, the man of the hour

There came the God to tell Noah, what to do
For all animals, that could join two by two
When the rain does stop, it can still amaze
The animals float in floods for days and days

Being lost in the journey, Noah had to sit
Often wondering, really, where they were at
Noah came to the land at Mt. St. Thomas
It was only to the perplexity of the animals

Then Noah said with a wink of an eye
O.K. You lot, go forth and multiply!
Hearing it, the animals formed a queue
Keen to comply they knew what to do

The animals bolted still two by two
Anyone single, can there be a cue?
Then Noah heard, snakes cry by the ladders,
We can`t do that, cause we are only adders.

Good stuff, but we must know the serpent is so much wiser then it'd have us all believe, punished for the enlightenment it offered, without adders we'd all be taken away haha

I like this great stuff :)

Nice job..

I liked the flow.
I find it difficult to elborate on bible stories without going off the main point, but you did a nice job.
