The day was long and Tiresome
The fatigue took me some will
Let myself drive along the seaside
Following the fading sun
The waves hitting the rocks
With a lazy softness
Echoing a almost sensual melody
Like a balm to my aching soul
I rested my eyes at the sight
Not resisting to the appeal
To feel the sand under my feet
And let myself being involved
In such a magic scene
At the end of the day
That scarlet ball
Was falling into the sea
And the sea rested
In an accomplice murmur
Going seductive to kiss the sand
In a soft caress

At the end of the day
That scarlet ball
Was falling into the sea
And the sea rested
In an accomplice murmur
Going seductive to kiss the sand
In a soft caress
...I don't know, Fernanda...it's recess for the children and here I am with tears trickling down my cheeks...they're not used to seeing a man with a warm soft smile and tears...
...I've been through a war...a long, long war...your last verse just melted me...we all need to melt every now and then...
