Night-time Wonderer

So I asked a question to the skies And I waited here for the stars' reply
I layed below until the light of dawn And after every glimpse of moon was gone
And I plan to return again tonight When darkness dims all out of sight
For I cannot shake the question that steals my sleep Whose answer I know will grant me peace
So I will sit under heaven as long as it takes Until the burst of daylight breaks
And then I hope the truth I will know To hear in the breeze everytime that it blows

Beautiful effort. I do think it asks for a little more at the end, if time brings you any more to give it. But that may be just me. Well done, in all.
