Let me be Alone

Contributed by Shattered_soul on Friday, 11th November 2005 @ 04:55:49 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I hate the loneliness
yet all I want
is to be alone.

I hate the sadness
yet all I want
is to cry.

I hate the scars
yet all I want
is to be rid of the pain.

Just make it all go away
let me leave you
just please let me be alone.
Let the pain seep out
through my deep deep doors
just let me stay alone.
Dwindle in my fears
just let me be alone.
So I wont have to hold my tears
just let me be alone.
Let the pain seep out
I cant let you see me like this
in my weakest moment.
Just let me sink below
into that sweet abyss

On the emotional side, this is a very good poem.

You get to the heart of your feelings
and relate it very nicely.

I do think that the structure could do with a bit more work, though.

Nice one
Ash~

wow... this is really sad, and very emotional. well written and alone time is good, but too much alone time isn't. so take some time off and then talk to someone you care about and cares about. if there's no one you want to talk to. i'll always listen!! if you need to talk, PM me. great write, though, keep up the good work!!
