Weary land in a desperate stand, Youre stapled to a strangers hand. The sullen clouds pour thorns of scorn In deformed attempts to revive a lovelorn Maiden. The musics crest imprisoned within a chest Has nowhere to turn and nowhere to rest. The wicked soil campaigns disdainful plains In mundane exertion to destroy a long feigned Freedom.
A purblind ant will never decant The ambrosial wine from an unblemished vine Whichin good timethis land will climb And vanish above into unremitting love. A colorblind hound will never expound The terrific mystery held so exclusively Untilin good timethis horrid pantomime Is finally thrust into monopolizing trust.

I truly enjoyed this piece.
I haven't been challenged like this in quite some time....it reminds me of my very early works...the experimental structure, rhyme scheme, the quick paced-randomness which all tied in-somehow.
The deeper significances, mostly personal to the writer... inpenetrable...perhaps due to that 'monopolizing trust' you so happened to mention. Maybe I'm wrong...too manic about the piece, because I've enjoyed it so much.
Everyline you mentioned is a philosophy.
I don't know how you webbed all these concepts together...I guess such is life?
I would love to further pick on the amound of detail here, but im afraid my disposition would not allow for it.
Thank you for sharing.
Made my day. |
