If you had never come back
What would I be?
I wonder
If you had never stayed in tact
What would have happened to me?
But youre here,
Ive heard
But sometimes Im not sure
I wonder
If I were someone else
Would it matter to you?
I wonder
If I were myself
Would your love still be true?
I think its time for me
To be myself.
Maybe you wont be able to tell
I wonder
Even as I am now
Could you love me enough?
I wonder
If I followed
Would it still be this tough?
But Im not sure if I care
I want to be me
The one you may never see
I wonder
If I changed
Would you even notice?
I wonder
Do you even care
That Ive been stuck in the crevice?
Maybe you dont
Maybe I wont
Maybe we never will
