Its a shot in the chest
It just wont rest
It is the past that wont go away

But you have to pay
And the always say
There will be another day

The dart through the heart, soul, and mind
Being blind to the rest of the world
Though it caught up with you

You cant tell who but they knew
You would fail and nail your coffin shut

Who knew the world could be so cruel

It is still on the chest and it still wont rest, but who cares it is just your life

I'm probably going to come back and re-read this,
because right now I'm a bit confused as to some bits here and there,
but I do get the gist of it. :D

Blame the lack of sleep... O_o

I liked the brevity of this though, and the hint of wistfulness throughout.
