All these people speaking their minds Not knowing their going away Speaking words like trees in a breeze Staying in one spot, but their branches sway
Feeling like perfection is the only road Like you cant say what you want Or else your mind collapses And the ghosts of your past haunt
So give one more chance to footprints Walk the path of distortion Smile more often than not because Your soul and heart are out of proportion
Chorus Everybodys got something to hide Everybodys got something in mind Looking all around someone just cried Sometimes all you need to do is unwind Bring it around one more time When life gives you a lemon ask for a lime Hanging around just in case Hoping they dont steal your face
All these people getting away Finding out what life can be Get some good and some bad Why have one when you can get three
Mind is beginning to turn over Not really knowing how to throw Fuzz starting to form on the face The deal of the new is beginning to show
Its fine when you dont know how Former minds say something smart The grass grows and never stops Just waiting for our souls to part
Chorus
Float and fly just like an angel Stay inside my mind and run Stay with my hands for awhile Just stay and float until its done Just float until its over

An interesting piece.
Some of these concepts were highly insightful and provide many interpretations.
I enjoy these options, specifically designed by the author, which allow for the piece to diverge into many paths and situations.
The second stanza appears to represent restrictions..."Like you can’t say what you want".
I really adored the third stanza.
Very thought provoking.
The chorus is basically the story of my life.
I find alot of correlation here...I can relate to these feelings.
"Mind is beginning to turn over"
A beautiful compilation of both haunting and inspiring thoughts and concepts.

I like it, sometimes you just need to say things in the simplest way possible. I like your bluntness! |
