Like a light warm breeze On an Early-Autumn night. Like a sleeping babe In a reverie warm and tight. Like a deer running Through a frost-covered field. Like a tearful prayer For God to give you shield. Like a midnight snow Falling on broken hearts. Like a single tear Before the weeping starts. As I am When I think of you I can not speak What I know is true: That I could be The one to love To give you stars From the sky above. To hold you tight When you want to cry To burry your pain And muffle your sighs. But, quiet I will be And the silence will remain. I will not utter the words And will live in my lonely pain
