That reason you can't sleep at night
or that reason you can't wait to wake
owed to love
that reason you rush to school in the morn
or the reason you rush back to recieve that call
owed to love
when you feel like your dancing on air
and your spirit seems to sing
you feel like the world is yours
and no, not one may take it away
worse yet
that feeling of
darkness, deceit
lonesome, defeat
like standing in the rain
each drop brings you pain
that reason you try so hard
yet get nothing in return
still
owed to love
you see love is not as simple as we try and make it seem
but a maze that may take you
where you may not wish to be
you may not always see
rainbows, and butterflies
sometimes its
sadness, and tears cried
but all things aside
whether your
holding them so tight
or crying alone at night
and know it won't seem right
but these feelings are still
owed to love
